I have memories of late nights setting up giant playhouses in the basement where we spent hours cutting, decorating, coloring and making it all our own. I had kind of forgotten about that feeling until I was introduced to Metamorphic Toys. Metamorphic Toys is a green toy company that provides kids creative freedom by enabling their imaginations through design.
We've featured cardboard DIY toys before, all-in-one cardboard craft kits that inspire imagination. The strongest of the bunch is definitely the DYI cardboard mailbox. The clean cardboard base makes it easy to go as simple or crazy as you like--use crayons, markers, paint, glue, glitter, pom-pom balls, you name it. Metamorphic even offers their own stickers that can be colored and added to the kit. Plus I love that every piece is made from recyclable and biodegradable materials, and made in the USA.
Need a little inspiration for your design? Just take a gander through the gallery on their website to see what some kids have come up with--it's amazing to see how such vastly different ideas can come out of the same basic premise.
This is a perfect gift for grade school-aged kids who will really focus on it as a grander project and put the time and thought into making it as cool as it can be. And I wouldn't be surprised if once the piece is completed, it becomes a permanent addition to your child's room or playroom. I personally love the idea of keeping the mailbox around to leave love notes and reminders for each other throughout the week. Sniff. - Stephanie M

Metamorphic Toys, the maker of Eco-Friendly Educational Art Toys must have been after my heart upon its conception. We are a house full of creative souls and unique artists, but we also like to keep things clean and simple too. The Everythingland™ Mailbox comes bare as can be, a raw and blank canvas of Made in the USA recycled materials. I love how my kids were able to exercise their minds by discussing how we were going to decorate and personalize the mailbox, before ever opening a jar of paint or holding a marker in their hands. They talked about their favorite colors and shapes, and what was going to go where on the mailbox. They even spent a lot of time picking which of the Eco-Art U-Stick’ems they were going to use. My 3 and 5 year old didn’t come up with a very cohesive theme, but they did work together and the end product was a creation of their own imaginative minds.

Rainy Day Play for Toddlers!
To spice up their ride on play I had these fun silly signs from Metamorphic Toys on hand. They are perfect for getting their imaginations turning. We made fun games out of the silly signs. The kids tiptoed by the Dragon Crossing so they wouldn’t wake him up! Then they ran past the Giant Crossing so they wouldn’t get squished!

Having two boys can make trying to do crafts a task. They would rather run around outside or play their video games, but that doesn’t stop me from trying. If I find something cool, they are more than happy to participate, but it doesn’t usually last more the 15 minutes. Then I was asked to try out a new line of creative products from Metamorphic Toys, which not only kept my boys’ attention, it has them coming back for more.

One of the most important aspects of childhood, in my opinion, is imagination.
Last night, my daughter had her very first sleepover at Mommom and PopPops house. And, I thought it would be a lot of fun and very special for her to have a fun project to take with her. Thanks to Metamorphic Toys, she took along the Everythingland Mailbox & Eco-Art U-Stick’ems. What I find the most fun, of the entire project, is seeing my daughter and her siblings pretend to be mail carriers and also playing “house”. Elmo, Baby Roo and Susie the doll went for a walk to get the mail just a few moments ago. These are the moments you remember about your childhood – the special moments with grandparents, the moments of using your imagination, the moments of creating games and activities with your siblings!

With a background in early childhood education I know the importance of creative play. My daughter has a very active imagination and to help foster this type of play I like to purchase toys for her that are open ended. Toys that are 100% recyclable and made in the USA are huge perk, which is why I’m over the moon for Metamorphic Toys. My son and daughter both love their cardboard mailbox for both decorating and playing with. They write letters to friends and family out of town, each other and to their stuffed animals and dolls. Beyond just creative play we have used this cardboard mailbox to learn letter-writing skills, more about the Post Office and mail carriers job and how to share because they each want their own mailbox.

For Gracie’s birthday I tried to throw together the fairytale land birthday party of MY dreams, a Metamorphic Toys make-believe sign led the way in! And now, a week later, the boys have been having a ball in their pretend worlds with the interchangeable signs on the Metamorphic Toy that has made it’s way around our house from the front step to the guest bath to blocking entrance to the big boy room. “CAUTION: UNICORN CROSSING” is all I see almost every time I walk down the hall! It’s quite clever and really pushes their imaginations into overdrive. It’s what we’ve needed for these blah afternoons lately, it rains…no STORMS…every afternoon and has been like this for weeks it feels. Indoor pretend play is all we have to keep busy so I feel quite lucky to give the boys something as unique as this eco-friendly, MADE IN THE USA toy.

Metamorphic Toys has invented an eco-friendly way for your child to express themselves and utilize their imagination. The Everythingland Mailbox can be decorated in absolutely any way possible and then can be used as an at-home post office so that the creative play can continue. Riley couldn't have been more excited to receive the Everythingland Mailbox and is in the process of decorating hers. It's so cute because she's taking great care to do it just right. We've decided to make a super-duper large collage with pictures that she likes from her various children's magazines. I know we'll have a true masterpiece on our hands when the creative process is complete. After that, I plan on putting her special mailbox outside her bedroom door and surprising her with colorful drawings, notes, sweet treats, flowers and even letters from her special elf from time to time.

By now you all know that I have a special place in my heart and home for products that are eco-friendly, educational, promote creativity, and/or made in the USA – Metamorphic Toys fits all of those criteria!
The Everythingland Mailbox & Eco-Art U-Stick'ems make an awesome art project that turns into a long lasting toy. Kids can decorate it as they like, and then they can have fun writing each other letters and “mailing” them to each other! Each kid could have one in their room for special deliveries! And when the mailbox has been played with so much that it’s ready to live another life, the entire thing is recyclable! The Eco-Art U-Stick’ems are not coated with adhesive and must be glued after they are colored, but they come with an eco-friendly homemade glue recipe – how fun is that!

When offered a chance to review the Everythingland Mailbox I was quite excited and was SURE my oldest daughters would be as well. They are always delivering ‘mail’ to my husband and I, whether it be to ask a question, say “I love you”, or to share their latest masterpiece. Although it came with instructions, they weren’t especially necessary as it was extremely easy to put together. We easily assembled the mailbox and began decorating. My 4 year old was excited by all of the stencils that arrived with it (Eco-Art U-Stick’ems). She began to imagine all of the projects they could be used for besides decorating the mailbox.

I seriously just love how creative and cute kids can be. Watching my kids play pretend, make up scenarios, and interact is so much fun! Metamorphic Toys encourage creative expression and imaginative interactive play while reinforcing environmental responsibility with their great line of eco-friendly products. My kids actually had the chance to try out an Everythingland Mailbox and some U-Stick'Ems for review. The mailbox really does assemble in 2 steps, which was amazing. It allowed them to start using it and playing almost instantly. I loved watching them draw and color pictures for each other, put them in the mailbox, and then announce that someone had mail. I even joined in on the fun and created some mail for my kids too.

School let out a few weeks ago and I’ve been trying to keep my kids busy. My oldest is five and loves little projects he can do on his own. He had so much fun with the Metamorphic Toys Everythingland Mailbox. Since we get a lot of fun packages through the mail out our house my kids are particularly fond of mailboxes. They like to play “package man”. When Jackson found out he got to design his very own mailbox he was really excited.

I can't believe that out of all her toys, she keeps going back to this toy, which doesn't have bells or whistles, like other toys she is usually drawn to. Savannah is at a stage, where she loves playing with stickers and placing them on everything. There is where the sturdy and fun mailbox comes into play. Since receiving, Savannah has dressed up her mailbox with her favorite stickers inside and out. She is using her creative skills to add color to the otherwise plain mailbox. As soon as Savannah wakes in the morning, the first thing she does is run to her mailbox to see if she has mail.

Its not always easy being a green mama when so many of the toys out there are made with materials that are sometimes toxic to children and almost always bad for the environment. Luckily, I came across a little company is called Metamorphic Toys. Their products are not only environmentally friendly, but wallet friendly as well, and were the perfect choice for all my summer birthdays. They make toys and crafts they will keep the planet green and encourage kids let their creativity soar.

Metamorphic Toys saved our weekend with creative play and innovative fun! Memorial Day weekend we stayed home and watched the rain. The kiddos were disappointed that the weather turned sour, but we made the best of it when I brought out the Everythingland Mailbox!
Sometimes my Mommy Moments surprise me. This summer we’re implementing a “Good News” reward system at our house. The children earn points for activities like reading, exercise and doing chores. They are then rewarded with “Good News” and able to redeem points for prizes like Ice Cream truck money, gift cards, and more. The Everythingland Mailbox by Metamorphic Toys is the perfect place to deliver “Good News” because let’s face it, who doesn’t love mail!?

Technology has come a long way and kids today have toys that do all the work for them. Of course we want our little ones to have all the advantages that technology has to offer but at what cost? Sometimes I wonder if technology has caused our children to sacrifice a little brainpower. I purchased a toy for My Little Guy a few months back and my daughter asked me “what it did?” Unless there were screeching bells and whistles and colored sirens bellowing out Broadway Show Tunes she wasn’t going to be happy! I’m loving Metamorphic Toys!
